June Tennis Camp A Success!
Kids in the Parker County area participated in a tennis camp partnered together by Community Ed and Parker County Tennis Association. Clear sunny days brought out 45 participates that where ages 9 to 16 years old. A variety of activities where used to improve strokes and play on court.

kStart had 30 participants from ages 6 to 8 years old. They filled their time learning technique through fun games and appropriate size courts, nets and rackets. In attendance on the last day of Quick Start was Laura Gilbert, CTA Co-Coordinator, Fort Worth/Northwest Central/Hill Country for United States Tennis Association. She organized a QuickStart Tournament, providing prizes and encouragement to those in attendance.
Trish & Lawrence Prater was so kind to donate water during this event. A total of 50 volunteer hours was recorded and many of those who took time out of their own schedules to give back to the community. Parker County Tennis Association and Community Ed thank you for volunteering and make this camp a success.
